Shipping, Returns and Refunds Policy

PODER DE RIQUEZA HOLDINGS LIMITED (NZBN 9429052765407)
Trading as LA RIQUEZA GLOBAL SHOP NZ

Effective date: 8 September 2026
Shipping offer updated: 6 September 2026
Scope: Orders accepted for delivery to addresses within New Zealand.

1. ORDER FULFILMENT AND SHIPPING

1.1 Poder De Riqueza Holdings Limited (NZBN 9429052765407; GST No. 146-612-997), trading as La Riqueza Global Shop NZ (“we”, “us”, “our”) aims to process and deliver orders efficiently and reliably.

1.2 Products are fulfilled for delivery within New Zealand through our approved suppliers, warehouses and logistics providers. Customer delivery is available only within New Zealand, and we do not offer international shipping.

1.3 To minimise handling, maintain product quality, improve delivery efficiency, or reduce freight costs, certain large, premium, custom-made, made-to-order, or bespoke products may be shipped directly from the supplier or manufacturer.

1.4 If your order contains multiple items, they may be dispatched separately and arrive at different times where products originate from different suppliers, warehouses, or fulfilment locations.

1.5 A signature may be required upon delivery for certain orders.

1.6 We deliver to New Zealand addresses that our carriers can service. Any inability to deliver to a PO box, rural address, island, restricted-access site or oversized-freight location will be identified on the product page or during checkout where practicable.

1.7 Free New Zealand shipping. Orders with a product subtotal of NZ$199.00 or more qualify for free shipping to serviceable New Zealand delivery addresses, including products marked “Available to order”. The NZ$199.00 minimum is assessed before coupon discounts. No NZ$30 standard delivery fee applies to qualifying orders.

1.8 Products may be sent to a New Zealand delivery address from an approved supplier or fulfilment location. The applicable product page, checkout information or order confirmation will identify any materially longer supplier-direct or made-to-order timeframe.

1A. FURNITURE DELIVERY AND ACCESS

Before ordering large furniture, check the product dimensions and tell us about stairs, lifts, narrow doors, restricted vehicle access or other delivery constraints. Contact us if you need the packaged dimensions or confirmation of the delivery service.

Delivery placement, carrying goods upstairs, room-of-choice delivery, assembly, installation and packaging removal must be confirmed in the product information or agreed quote. Free shipping does not by itself promise these additional services. Any mandatory or agreed additional charge will be disclosed before you confirm the order; we will not add an undisclosed mandatory charge afterwards.

We will work with you on a suitable arrangement where access is restricted. Where we arrange delivery, contact us about any damage, loss or unreasonable delay. Our carrier or supplier arrangements do not remove your statutory rights.

2. DELIVERY TIMEFRAMES

In-stock items: Estimated delivery within New Zealand is 2–5 business days in total from ordering to delivery, including dispatch and transit. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding New Zealand public holidays. This timeframe applies only to items shown as in stock; available-to-order items use the calendar-day estimates below.

2.1 Available-to-order furniture: Estimated delivery is 45 calendar days, comprising 15 calendar days before dispatch plus 30 calendar days in transit to your New Zealand delivery address.

2.2 Available-to-order bags and accessories: Estimated delivery is 15 calendar days, comprising 5 calendar days before dispatch plus 10 calendar days in transit to your New Zealand delivery address. Calendar days include weekends and public holidays. The estimated dispatch date is shown on the product page. Any different timeframe for stocked, custom-made or bespoke products will be stated on the product page, quote or order confirmation.

  1. Product availability
  2. Manufacturing schedules
  3. Freight and courier capacity
  4. Road or ferry disruptions
  5. Regional courier delays
  6. Carrier performance
  7. Weather conditions
  8. Public holidays
  9. Delivery destination
  10. Events beyond our reasonable control

2.3 An estimated delivery date is the handling period plus the transit period. Timeframes are estimates, but we will provide accurate information in good faith, keep customers informed of material delay, and supply within any agreed or otherwise reasonable time required by New Zealand law.

2.4 Delivery can be affected by product availability, manufacturing schedules, carrier capacity, regional transport disruptions, weather, public holidays, the destination and events beyond our reasonable control. This clause does not remove any right to cancel, reject delayed goods, or obtain another remedy where New Zealand law provides that right.

2.5 Where tracking is available, we will provide customers with tracking information once their order has been dispatched. Tracking updates are provided by the relevant courier, freight provider, or logistics partner and may not update immediately. Please contact us if tracking is missing or appears incorrect. Carrier tracking issues do not remove our responsibility for a delivery we arrange or any remedy required by law.

3. CHANGE-OF-MIND RETURNS

3.1 If you change your mind about your purchase, you may request a return within

14 days of receiving your order, provided that:

  1. The item has not been used beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it.
  2. The item is returned in its original packaging.
  3. The item remains in resalable condition.
  4. Proof of purchase is provided.

3.2 The following items are generally not eligible for change-of-mind returns:

  1. Custom-made or made-to-order products
  2. Personalised or bespoke products
  3. Clearance or final sale items
  4. Products that have been assembled, installed, damaged, or used beyond reasonable inspection

3.3 Change-of-mind returns will be assessed to confirm they meet the eligibility requirements of this policy. This assessment does not affect any rights customers may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

3.4 Available-to-order is not automatically custom-made. A standard catalogue product does not become custom-made or made-to-order merely because we obtain it from a supplier after you order. Our 14-day change-of-mind offer applies to those standard items subject to the eligibility conditions above. An exclusion for goods genuinely made or personalised to order must be clearly identified before purchase. Selecting a standard listed colour or finish does not, by itself, establish that an item is custom-made.

3.5 Fashion items. The same return rules apply to bags and accessories. Keep supplied tags, dust bags and other included accessories with an item being returned. A missing tag or original packaging does not remove a statutory remedy for a faulty or misdescribed item.

4. EXCHANGES

4.1 Subject to product availability, we may offer exchanges for eligible items if requested within 14 days of delivery.

4.2 To be eligible for an exchange, the item must:

  1. Be unused, except to the extent reasonably necessary to inspect it;
  2. Be returned in its original packaging;
  3. Be in resalable condition; and
  4. Be accompanied by proof of purchase.

4.3 Custom-made, made-to-order, personalised, bespoke, clearance, or final sale items are generally not eligible for exchange unless required under applicable New Zealand consumer protection law.

4.4 Customers are responsible for return shipping for a change-of-mind exchange. If the replacement costs more, the customer must pay the difference before dispatch. If it costs less, we will refund the difference to the original payment method or another agreed method.

4.5 If an item is being exchanged because it is faulty, defective, damaged, or incorrect, the exchange will be handled in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and any other applicable New Zealand consumer protection legislation.

4.6 Nothing in this Exchange Policy limits, excludes, or affects any rights or remedies available under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other applicable New Zealand consumer protection legislation.

5. DAMAGED, FAULTY OR INCORRECT ITEMS

5.1 If your order arrives damaged, faulty, defective, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as reasonably practicable after discovering the issue. Prompt notification helps us investigate the matter with the relevant carrier or supplier but does not affect any rights you may have under applicable New Zealand consumer protection law.

5.2 Please provide your order number together with photographs or videos showing the issue.

5.3 To assist with freight damage claims, customers should, where reasonably practicable, retain the product, its original packaging, and all packing materials until the claim has been assessed or otherwise resolved. Customers may also be asked to provide additional photographs, videos, or other information reasonably required to assist us in investigating the claim with the relevant courier, freight provider, supplier, or insurer. This administrative process is intended to facilitate the investigation of freight damage claims and does not limit or affect any rights or remedies available under applicable New Zealand consumer protection legislation.

5.4 For a failure that can be remedied, we may choose to repair, replace or refund and must do so within a reasonable time. If the failure is substantial, cannot be remedied, or is not remedied within a reasonable time, the customer may reject the goods and choose a refund or replacement as provided by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. Customers may also be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss.

  1. Replacement parts
  2. Repair
  3. Product replacement
  4. Refund

5.5 Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other applicable New Zealand consumer protection legislation.

6.RETURN PROCESS

6.1 To request a return, please contact our customer support team and provide:

  1. Your order number
  2. A description of the issue
  3. Supporting photographs or videos where applicable

6.2 Returns are made by mail, courier or arranged freight; in-person returns are not available unless we agree otherwise. Please contact us before sending goods so we can provide the correct return location and instructions. A failure to obtain prior authorisation will not extinguish a statutory right, but may delay processing or leave the customer responsible for avoidable costs.

6.3 This administrative process does not affect any rights you may have under applicable New Zealand consumer law.

7. REFUNDS

7.1 Once a return has been approved and, where applicable, the returned goods have been received and inspected, we will process any approved refund promptly to the original payment method.

7.2 We aim to process approved refunds within 5 to 10 business days. However, the time taken for the refunded amount to appear in your account may vary depending on your financial institution or payment provider.

7.3 For approved change-of-mind returns, original shipping charges are non-refundable and the customer pays return shipping.

7.4 We do not charge a restocking fee.

7.5 Where goods fail a statutory guarantee, we will arrange or reimburse reasonable return transport and refund any delivery charge required by law. These statutory remedies are not subject to the change-of-mind shipping exclusions above.

8. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

8.1 For approved change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for all return shipping, freight, courier, handling, insurance, and associated costs.

8.2 For larger or oversized change-of-mind returns, collection or freight charges may apply and will be disclosed before the return is confirmed. For a valid statutory claim, we will arrange or reimburse reasonable return transport as required by law.

9. NEW ZEALAND DELIVERY AND UNDELIVERABLE ORDERS

9.1 We accept orders only for delivery to addresses within New Zealand that our carriers can service. We do not offer international shipping, deliver to overseas addresses, or arrange export or freight-forwarding services.

9.2 Customers are responsible for providing an accurate, complete and serviceable New Zealand delivery address and any access information reasonably required for delivery.

9.3 All customer deliveries must be to a serviceable New Zealand address. We do not deliver to overseas addresses or provide freight-forwarding or export services.

9.4 If an order is returned to La Riqueza Global Shop NZ because it was unclaimed, refused by the recipient, or could not be delivered due to incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided by the customer, we may deduct any reasonable freight, handling, storage, return shipping, administration, or other costs incurred before issuing any applicable refund. If the customer requests that the order be re-dispatched, additional shipping and handling charges may apply. This clause does not limit or affect any rights or remedies available under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other applicable New Zealand consumer protection legislation.

10. ORDER CANCELLATIONS

10.1 Orders cancelled before dispatch will generally receive a full refund.

10.2 If an order has already been dispatched, any refund for a cancelled order may be reduced by any reasonable freight, handling, processing, logistics, or other costs already incurred by La Riqueza Global Shop NZ. This clause does not limit or affect any rights or remedies available to customers under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other applicable New Zealand consumer protection legislation.

10.3 Custom-made, personalised, bespoke, or made-to-order products generally cannot be cancelled once production or manufacture has commenced.

11. LOST OR DELAYED DELIVERIES

11.1 If your order has not arrived within a reasonable time after the estimated delivery period, please contact our customer support team.

11.2 We will work with the relevant courier or freight provider to investigate the delay and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement, repair, or refund in accordance with applicable New Zealand consumer law.

12. FORCE MAJEURE

12.1 Events beyond reasonable control may delay performance, but do not automatically end the order or remove statutory consumer remedies. We will act reasonably, keep affected customers informed and provide a refund or other remedy where required by law.

12.2 Events beyond our reasonable control may include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, earthquake, pandemic, epidemic, war, terrorism, civil unrest, industrial disputes, strikes, transport disruptions, supply chain interruptions, power or telecommunications outages, government actions, regional transport delays, road closures or ferry disruptions, or any other event beyond our reasonable control.

12.3 Where reasonably practicable, we will make reasonable efforts to minimise the impact of any such event and to keep customers informed of any significant delays affecting their orders.

13. RISK AND OWNERSHIP

13.1 Risk in the goods passes to the customer once the goods have been delivered to the delivery address specified in the order, unless otherwise required by applicable New Zealand law.

13.2 Ownership (title) in the goods remains with La Riqueza Global Shop NZ until payment for the goods has been received in full and in cleared funds.

14. CONSUMER RIGHTS

14.1 Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or limits any rights or remedies available under the:

  1. Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
  2. Fair Trading Act 1986
  3. Any other applicable New Zealand consumer protection legislation

14.2 Where this policy is inconsistent with applicable consumer protection laws, those laws will prevail.
